Hi, I am 50 years old woman from Ottawa. I have been smoking since my thirties. My husband always argues with me regarding this. So, my family life is also disappointing. I tried to quit smoking many times but I couldn’t do it. Now I have another problem due to smoking. My teeth are really stained and it looks very bad when I smile. I tried flossing and changing my toothpaste. But nothing worked good enough. So I consulted a dentist in my locality and he advised me to undergo teeth whitening procedure. Also, he advised me to quit my smoking habit prior to the procedure. Is it a wise idea to take nicotine tablets? I have heard that nicotine replacement therapy is good but haven’t used it. Has anyone here tried it? How was your experience? Is it worth spending money? Is there any other method to remove the stains? How much does teeth whitening cost? How long will the results last? Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks!
